Adult Mental Health Program - Powell River

Provides a range of mental health care and support services for adults diagnosed with a major mental illness and experiencing significant problems that interfere with their functioning in the community. Deals primarily with clients who experience schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, or mood disorders including bipolar and major depressive disorders. Also provides services to individuals with concurrent disorders such as personality disorders, substance abuse, and other mental challenges. Services include assessment, treatment, counselling, education, and referral to community resources. In addition, provides access to other specialty substance use and mental health services. Open referral. Serves Powell River, Lund, Westview, Savary Island, Harwood Island, Lasqueti Island, and Texada Island, including Gillies Bay and Van Anda. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:40 pm Monday to Friday.
