Adventurer's Program - Langley

Offers services to children and youth ages three to 18 with developmental and/or physical disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder. Groups of children and youth work together towards healthy growth and development. Provides opportunities to form friendships with peers, improve social skills, discover and enhance skills and gifts, and explore the community in a group setting. Groups consist of five to six children and/or youth, and are facilitated by two professional counsellors. Potential participants are initially evaluated to ensure suitability in group placements. Accommodates children who are in a wheelchair. Staff members speak several languages. Referral is required by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD)'s Children and Youth with Support Needs program.
