Service Description
Provides individual and systemic advocacy services for newcomer, migrant, and immigrant women (including transgender women) involved in indoor sex work throughout Metro Vancouver, and to women who have been trafficked. Services include accompaniment, transportation, and translation to medical appointments, legal services, law enforcement, and the justice system; assistance with legal, health, and personal challenges; and emotional support. Support workers have direct and indirect experiences with the indoor sex trade sector. Language services are in English as well as Cantonese and Mandarin. Serves Burnaby, Coquitlam, Langley, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, and White Rock. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
