Community-based early childhood mental health team for families with infants and children under five years of age when there are significant concerns around the child's emotional, social and/or behavioural development. Parent and caregiver involvement is essential. Services include advocacy and support, as well as interventions that strengthen parent/child relationships and promote child's sense of security, and social and emotional development. Mental health team includes family and child counsellors, child care counsellors, psychiatrists, speech language pathologists. Also provides consultation and education within the early childhood community regarding infant mental health. No fee for services. Serves families living in Vancouver and Richmond. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 9 am to 7 pm Tuesday and Thursday.
