Service Description

Provides day treatment and educational services for children ages six to 12 who are living with complex developmental, behavioural, trauma, and attachment issues, and who are unable to manage in the regular educational system. Treatment aims to help children manage their impulsivity, identify their feelings, and calm themselves while learning social and school readiness skills. The program utilizes a multi-disciplinary team that includes a child and family therapist, teacher and support workers, and other professional services providers. Referrals accepted from Vancouver schools, social workers, mental health professionals and other community agencies. Services are provided at no cost to parents. Funded in partnership with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Vancouver Coastal Health, and the Vancouver School Board.
