Service Description

Provides confidential, free assistance to undergraduate and graduate students who are engaged in a dispute, bureaucratic challenge, or appeal process with UBC or their landlord. Offers a space to discuss the situation and potential strategy, get information about relevant policies, receive accompaniment to hearings, and get referrals to campus resources. Does not provide legal advice. Can assist students with matters of academic discipline (such as cheating, plagiarism, or falsifying information), non-academic misconduct (such as sexual misconduct, harassment, and theft of university property), academic standing, UBC student housing, off-campus tenancy, accessibility, UBC Parking, and UBC Library. Hours vary; by appointment only. Appointments take place on Zoom, unless otherwise specified.
