Anger Management Care Program

Service Description

Offers psychoeducation groups and wellness workshops for men. Each psychoeducation group consists of eight sessions up to 90 minutes long. Wellness workshops are open to participants and their families/support persons and are held once or twice a month. Program sessions address forms and appropriate responses to anger; personal triggers and how to set healthy boundaries, effective ways for managing stress and controlling emotions; respectful communication for resolving conflicts; and techniques for healing. Men can self-refer or be referred by community services, including BC Corrections, Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), and local police offices.
