Service Description
BCSPCA Burnaby Branch is contracted to administer and enforce regulations of animal control bylaw. Issues include barking dogs, loose and unleashed dogs, attacking or aggressive dogs, stray and surrendered animals as well as reports of animal abuse. Responds to reports of injured or deceased animals (domestic and wildlife) found on public property in the City of Burnaby; for private property pick up, permission and access is required before they enter private property. Also offers new kitten or cat $15 rebate, cremation services, shelter and adoption services, and temporary emergency pet boarding. Not wheelchair accessible but willing to discuss accommodation of needs. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 5 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Adoption viewing hours are 12 noon to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, and 12 noon to 4:30 pm Saturdays and Sundays
