Provides comprehensive assessment, medical care and social support to individuals who are using opioids in Richmond. An interdisciplinary team works from a non-judgmental, harm-reduction approach to provide a variety of treatments, including primary care services for patients with substance use issues, group and individual counselling, opioid agonist therapy program (methadone and suboxone), health information to encourage safer injecting practices, needle exchange services, and referrals to treatment and community resources. Also distributes Take Home Naloxone kits and harm reduction supplies, including safer injection and safer sex supplies to people of all ages. Open referral. Walk-ins accepted or call to book an appointment. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Mondays, 9 am to 6 pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 9 am to 5 pm Thursdays and Fridays.
