Avalon Women's Centre North Shore

Resource and drop-in centre for women recovering from addiction. Offers group support through 12-step recovery programs; also offers virtual peer support meetings by Zoom. Provides child care, educational workshops, a lending library, and a clothing exchange. Also holds a monthly potluck at 7 pm followed by an 8 pm AA meeting on the last Saturday of each month. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings are 12:15 pm, seven days a week. AA Step Group drop-in meeting is 7 pm Thursdays. Al-Anon meeting is 10 am Fridays. Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous (ABA) meeting is 7 pm Wednesdays. Codependents of Sex Addicts Anonymous (COSA) meeting is 6:30 pm Mondays. Yoga of 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR) meeting is 6 pm Tuesdays; call to register. Codependents Anonymous (CODA) meeting is 7 pm Wednesdays. Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA) Red Book Discussion meeting is 7 pm Fridays.
