Barnett House

Provides five units of transitional supportive housing for youth of any gender ages 16 to 19 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or who are transitioning from Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) care to living on their own. Youth are given their own separate units and are supported to assess their own life skills and develop a plan to be able to live independently. Wheelchair accessible. Cannot accommodate pets. Accepts self-referrals (application form https://www.jhsni.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Barnett-House-Program-Application-fillable-RX.pdf is on website), although priority is given to Campbell River MCFD clients. Funded by MCFD.
