Barnett House

Provides five units of transitional housing for youth of any gender ages 16 to 19 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Youth given their own separate units and are supported to assess their own life skills and develop a plan to acquire the skills necessary to live independently. Expectation to engage with program and work toward goals while in residence. Wheelchair accessible. Cannot accommodate pets. Referral through MCFD. Also accepts self-referrals; application form on website. Rental charge is $1000 per month. Funded by MCFD.
