BC Early Childhood Tax Benefit (BCECTB)

Provides a tax-free monthly payment to families to help with the cost of raising young children under age six. Combined with the Canada Child Benefit (CCB) into a single monthly payment. Families can receive up to $55 per month; the amount payable is reduced if the family's net income exceeds $100,000 and is zero if it exceeds $150,000. Program is administered by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and enrollment is automatic when registering for the Canada Child Benefit.
