Provides assistance with funeral services, helping cover the cost of transportation, caskets, burial, or cremation of any person who dies in BC, if the estate of the deceased person or any responsible person has no immediate resources to meet these costs. The deceased person, or the person's family, do not need to be income or disability assistance recipients to qualify. Phone service is available from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
