BC Employment and Assistance (BCEA) Extra Assistance - Support and Shelter

Service Description
Provides eligible BCEA recipients with extra assistance related to housing costs. Security Deposit assistance covers the cost of a security deposit when renting accommodation; must be repaid. The Co-operative Housing Association Share Purchase Benefit covers the cost of co-op membership shares; must be repaid when client moves or leaves BCEA. Rate tables for Co-Op Share Purchase Benefit are available online. Phone service is available from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
