BC Hate Crime Team

Tracks and follows up on reports of hate crimes, coordinating with local police as appropriate. People may call to obtain general information or to speak to police about a hate incident. Community liaison is provided by both this office and the Multiculturalism Division in the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. Callers can report a non-emergency hate crime by phoning the non-emergency number for their local police department, or by visiting their local police department to make a report in person.
