Service Description
Independent, quasi-judicial body responsible for accepting, screening, mediating, and adjudicating human rights complaints under the provincial Human Rights Code; discrimination may be based on such factors as ancestry, family status, gender identity, and religion. The tribunal has the authority to evaluate the merits of the complaint and order remedies, such as compensation for lost wages, if warranted. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
