BC Training and Education Savings Grant

Service Description

A one-time $1,200 grant for eligible children to encourage parents to save early for post-secondary costs. To be eligible, the child must have been born in 2006 or later, parent and child must be residents of BC, and child must be beneficiary of a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) with a participating financial institution. Grants can be requested as soon as a child turns six; after that, parents can apply for their children at any time up until the child turns nine.
