BCSPCA Charlie's Vet Clinic

Provided by: The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BCSPCA)

Service Description

Volunteer veterinarians and registered vet technicians provide preventative veterinary services from 10 am to 12 noon on the last Thursday of each month; participants must either be living in supportive housing or in a SRO residence, or be homeless and living in BC, and register in advance. Register with government-issued identification, proof of address, and proof of income. Other ways to register are by referral from a support worker, homeless shelter or single room occupancy (SRO). Charlie's Fund provides free or low-cost surgeries for pets who qualify; pets (dogs, cats, and rabbits) must be spayed/neutered, though the clinic does provide free or low-cost spaying/neutering services to those who qualify.
