Service Description

Provides therapy services and early years outreach support to Indigenous children from birth to age six and their families. Also offers support for families with children who are at risk of, or have a developmental delay. Focus on the child's well-being and development as a whole; physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual. Services are provided by Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Rehabilitation Assistant, and Early Years Outreach Workers. Referral accepted from self or other. Serves Yekooche First Nation, Takla Nation, Saik'uz First Nation, Nadleh Whut'en, Stellat'en First Nation, Cheslatta Carrier Nation, Skin Tyee Nation, Nee Tahi Buhn Band, and Lake Babine Nation. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres and Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) as an Aboriginal Infant Development Program (AIDP).
