BladeRunners Program

Free employment training and job support program in the construction or customer service fields for men and women ages 17 to 30 facing barriers to employment. Program offers two weeks of employability skills training and work safety certification, followed by a job search supported by an employment counsellor. Once employed, trainees are provided with appropriate safety gear and may qualify for further training. Applicants must be interested in the field in question; be unemployed or underemployed; be willing to participate in all components of the program; and be interested in receiving additional support during their employment search. Breakfast and lunch are provided during training.
