Service Description

A free mental health program based in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), designed to help people ages 13 years and over who are experiencing mild to moderate depression and anxiety. Through a series of workbooks and supported by a trained coach, BounceBack Telephone Coaching provides guidance about how to manage low mood, worry, and stress, and improve overall mental health. Coaches provide support over four to six telephone sessions. Coaching is available in English, French, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Punjabi; workbooks are available in French, Farsi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish and Punjabi. A referral is required from a primary care provider (doctor, nurse practitioner, or psychiatrist) who will accept clinical responsibility until program completion. BounceBack Today Videos provide practical tips for managing mood, sleeping better, building confidence, increasing activity, problem solving and health living. Videos are available in English, French, Arabic, Farsi, Cantonese, Mandarin and Punjabi. BounceBack Online provides access to educational modules that include interactive workbooks, worksheets, and videos designed to help participants learn skills to cope with and overcome low mood and worry.
