Bridging to Trades

Service Description
A 12-week training program in four industrial trades including electrical, plumbing, machining, and welding. Program is delivered locally in communities across BC when invited by the community. Offers workplace safety training and certifications, as well as employment search assistance. Provides support with resume writing, interviewing tactics, and other job-search related tools. Eligible students are Indigenous, unemployed and not eligible for Employment Insurance (EI). Funded by Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR) as a WorkBC Employment Services and Supports (ESS) Program.
