Service Description

Provides youth empowerment services in a safe, welcoming space that embraces youth engagement. Our programming instills cultural pride while actively participating in reconciliation for brighter futures for Indigenous youth.
Services include one-to-one support services, summer camps, culture camps, and resource bridging. The Walk Tall groups provide gender-specific programming to high-risk youth ages 12 to 20, including recreation, education workshops, leadership development, and cultural camps. After School Programming in Prince George offers a safe and supportive place for youth ages eight to 12 to build
positive relationships and learn about Carrier culture. Programs include: Walk Tall, Youth Support Services: Intensive Youth Social Workers, Elder Youth Mentorship, Youth Pantry / Food Bank, Youth Advisory Council, Nk'Esiy (Youth Pride Group), and Noh' Khunik (Our Language).

Provides culturally competent prevention and intervention services for at-risk Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal youth ages eight to 20 in Burns Lake and Prince George. Aims to reduce youth substance use and violence and improve outcomes for youth in the north. Services include one-to-one therapeutic services, summer camps, culture camps, and resource bridging. Operates the Sk'ai Zeh Yah Youth Centre in Prince George offering 24/7 support to at-risk youth ages eight to 29 including meals, showers, and clothing. Walk Tall provides gender-specific programming to high-risk youth ages 12 to 20, including recreation, education workshops, leadership development, and cultural camps. After School Programming in Prince George offers a safe and supportive place for youth ages eight to 12 to build positive relationships and learn about Carrier culture.
