Centre of Clinical Excellence

Delivers an integrated continuum of health and mental wellness services for Canadian armed forces, veterans, and first responders. Services include primary care, nutrition and lifestyle support, oral and dental care, chronic pain management, mental health and substance use intervention and assessment, clinical counselling, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and rehabiliation for complex mental health and neurological conditions. Open referral. In partnership with Vancouver Resource Society, eligible patients are given priority for affordable on-site housing at The Valorie; see separate listing for details. Also conducts research in health technologies, facilitates the development and implementation of innovative practices, and supports clinical trials in the areas of PTSD, mental health, and rehabilitation.
