Chieng's Adult Day Centre

Offers personal assistance, supervision, and an organized program of therapeutic health, social, and recreation activities to Chinese-speaking seniors age 60 and over, and adults with disabilities. Group activities vary by program, and may include therapeutic recreation, social activities, nursing assessments, and health monitoring. Additional services such as podiatry and hairdressing are available for a fee. A hot mid-day meal is provided. Accepts seniors requiring assistance with eating and/or with dementia, and who are not aggressive. A referral is required from the home health intake office; has several spots for self-paid clients. Fees are charged. Program hours are 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Services are offered in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Funded by Vancouver Coastal Health.
