Child and Family Centre

Provides services and programs for children six months to 12 years of age. Offers child care programs for infants and toddlers, three to five year olds, as well as pre-school and out-of-school care. Also offers day camps for school-aged children during school closures and the summer months. Provides free and low cost family programs including playgroups, family events, community resources, and educational opportunities; registration may be required. A public health nurse is available 1 pm to 2 pm Mondays to assist with breastfeeding concerns, and leads a free parent and infant drop-in 1 pm to 3 pm Mondays offering an opportunity for parents to weigh and measure their baby, meet other parents, and learn about baby and self-care during the first year. An immunization clinic for infants and children is available by appointment.
