Child and Youth Suicide Intervention Program

Provides free short-term assessment, intervention, counselling, and case management services to children and youth ages five to 19 in Delta who have been identified as at moderate to high risk of suicide and are engaged in high risk activities. Also provides safety planning, referrals to other resources, and services to family members. Offers prevention presentations and collaborates with other agencies to coordinate suicide prevention services in Delta. Referral from the school district or Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) required. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by MCFD.
