Child Protection Services

Reviews, assesses, and investigates reports of child abuse, neglect, and exploitation of Aboriginal children and youth, and provides services to their parents or caregivers. Supports for families may include counselling, parenting programs, traditional healing, and basic needs assistance. Services are culturally based and make use of traditions and practices that strengthen cultural identity. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
