Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN) Services - Island

Provides peer-based social support services for children and youth up to age 18 with special needs. Groups focus on life skills, social interactions, as well as client needs and interests. In addition to groups, offers one-on-one sessions for youth along with support for parents of children with special needs. Referrals are through Children and Youth Support Needs (CYSN) at Ministry for Child and Family Development (MCFD). Serves Bowser, Coombs, Dashwood, Deep Bay, Errington, Horne Lake, Lasqueti, Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Port Alberni, Qualicum Beach, and Whiskey Creek. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
