Chinese Community Policing Centre

Service Description
Works with the Chinese community to enhance the accessibility of police services to this community. Services include crime reporting, public education on crime prevention and personal safety, and translation and interpretation. Victim Assistance Services include referral, education about the criminal justice system and court processes, information on the investigation and progress of court cases, liaison with police and court services, court accompaniment, assistance completing the Victim Impact Statement, and assistance in applying for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). Hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays; also closed on statutory holidays. Funding provided by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
