Christmas Bureau

Helps low-income families with children 18 years or younger, low-income seniors age 65 and over, and people with disabilities living in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Bowen Island, and Lions Bay. Provides Christmas Hampers filled with grocery cards, personal care items, gifts, and toys. Toy Shop appointments are scheduled for families with children age 18 years and under. Bikes for Tykes is a program in partnership with Obsession Bikes, which restores old bicycles and delivers them to children. Complete list of suggested accepted donations available online. To register, a Christmas Bureau application form must be completed and proper documentation provided of residency, income, and care cards or disability status. Applications will be interviewed and are approved based on income levels or extreme circumstances. Office hours are 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
