Service Description

Provides a variety of services to people impacted by blindness gain greater independence and enhance their daily living skills. Services include peer support programs; culture, sports and recreation programs that allow participants to take part in a variety of creative classes; community-based workshops; physical activities; and excursions. Work programs provide training opportunities and connect job seekers who are blind or partially sighted with employers. Assists with access to assistive technologies and provides instruction on learning to use them. Also provides public education about vision loss, and promotes vision health.
