Collaborative Practices Program

Provides specialized facilitation for families in crisis or needing support to resolve a dispute. Families receive culturally relevant support based on Carrier decision-making practices. Offers family case planning conferences and family group conferences when children are in the care of Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) or at risk of going into care. Offers prevention meetings for family disputes that may impact the safety of a parent or child, to resolve conflict and improve family relationships. Also offers youth transition conferences, to assist youth ages 16 to 19 to transition into adulthood with a supportive network of family and friends.
