Service Description

Gives hope and support to vulnerable individuals and families through the provision of social services and practical assistance focusing on the basic necessities of life. Helps meet the immediate and short-term needs of people in distress through emergency assistance with food, lay counselling, and emergency disaster services. Food Bank provides groceries to low-income people; by appointment only, registration required. New clients must present ID, proof of income, and proof of address. Clients can collect one hamper per month. Hours are 2 pm to 4:30 pm Wednesdays.
