Service Description

Gives hope and support to vulnerable individuals and families through the provision of social services and practical assistance focusing on the basic necessities of life. Helps meet the immediate and short-term needs of people in distress through emergency food, lay counselling, and emergency disaster services. Additional services include free bus tickets, infant care items (when available), pet food (when available), and personal hygiene items. Also runs a back to school drive, and a fall winter coat drive (call for coat availability). Also has a variety of food programs; listed separately. Serves Kamloops. Hours are 9 am to 12 noon Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
