Community-based Community Inclusion

Provides opportunities for shared activities and social connections to help people with intellectual disabilities learn, form relationships, and have fun. Regularly scheduled activities include a floor hockey group, an exercise class, and a worship service, games, reading, crafts, or shared lunches, which provide opportunities to meet people and make friends outside participants' normal circle of support. Participants are well-supported with support workers who are trained to encourage as much independence as possible. Activities are provided in both group and one-to-one formats. Services are based in designated locations in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Langley.
