Service Description

Provides information about the criminal justice system, advocacy, emotional support, court accompaniment, and form completion assistance for self-identified girls, women, femmes, and 2SLBGTQI+ who have experienced violence in an intimate relationship, sexualized violence, any form of gender-based violence, or any form of criminal harrassment. Offers third party reporting to self-identified girls, women, femmes, and 2SLBGTQI+ victims of sexual assault; staff report the assault to police on behalf of the victim who remains anonymous. Also assists women who are dealing with child apprehension and navigating the criminal justice system. The intake and crisis line is available from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday; a voice message can be left after hours. If unable to speak safely, use the text number or email for support. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
