Concussion Services

Service Description

Provides early intervention and follow-up services to individuals age 16 and over who have experienced a concussion/mild traumatic brain injury, helping to manage symptoms and speed recovery. Provides information about recovery, guidance in returning to daily activities and work, assessment of rehabilitation needs, help arranging community services if required, and consultation with a family physician and other health care providers. Serves Fraser Health region residents up to a year post-injury. A referral is required from a medical professional. Office hours are 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
