Connect Warming Centre

Provides a safe, warm place where people experiencing homelessness can take refuge during cold weather. Offers temporary storage of belongings, access to washrooms, access to internet, and supports. On-site outreach workers offer access to housing, assistance filling out forms, assistance with ID replacement, vulnerability assessments, referrals to social services, access to living supports, literacy and education, scheduled workshops, trainings, and activities, and visits from social service providers. Hours are 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 1 pm to 6 pm daily. Offered in partnership with the Comox Valley Coalition to End Homelessness and others.
