A free pre-employment program that focuses on employability and life skills for newcomer youth ages 15 to 30 in need of assistance to overcome barriers to work. Program includes skill-building workshops, one-on-one employment coaching, English as a Second Language (ESL) support, and networking opportunities. Workshops are held from 10:30 am to 12 noon on Saturdays at Robert Lee YMCA. Registrants must have permanent resident status, be a convention refugee, or in Canada under CUAET (Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel); a separate program for temporary foreign workers is also available.
