Coquitlam Continuing Education

Offers academic, upgrading, and vocational courses for adult students ages 17 and up. Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) offers a free English language training and settlement program for adult newcomers to Canada; morning, afternoon, evening, and full-time programs available. Placement of new students is determined by testing administered by the Surrey Language Assessment Centre. Literacy Foundations and High School Completion (Adult Grad) programs also available; programs are free for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Office hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Mondays and Fridays, and 8:30 am to 6:30 pm Tuesday to Thursday. Settlement programs funded by Welcome BC; Literacy Foundations and High School Completion programs funded by MEd.
