Coquitlam Shelter

Provides year-round, low-barrier, 24-hour emergency housing in private rooms for homeless adults, 20 men and 10 women. Services include meals and storage space for carts. Other services include service connections with financial assistance and mental health. Health-related services include 24-hour access to bed rest, medication management, home nursing onsite, home nursing through referral, home care supports onsite (not personal care), and home care supports through referral. Harm reduction supplies available to shelter residents. Pets are welcome. Wheelchair accessible. Serves Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody. Intake is primarily during the day, with exceptions for evening intake. A waitlist is maintained when the shelter is at capacity. Contact the agency directly from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday.
