Court Information Program for Immigrants (CIPI)

Service Description
Provides assistance to new immigrants and refugees with court issues. Enhances access to the courts and to justice through information and referral for immigrants, refugees, and citizens that may be appearing in court as the claimants, defendants, accused, victims, or witnesses. Court Information Assistants do not provide legal advice, serve as interpreters before the court, or advocate for clients. Service is provided in English, Cantonese, Hindi, Mandarin, Punjabi, French, and Spanish. Hours vary; call or email to arrange service. Serves BC.
