Courtlink Program

Service Description

Provides outreach education services about the justice system for youth and adults. Presentations include the structure and operation of the court system, meeting with justice system personnel, courtwatching, and participation in mock trials. The Youth-at-Risk Courtlink Program addresses the justice-related issues of youth who are at risk for trouble with the law, school dropout, and/or substance use. The Native Youth-At-Risk Courtlink Program provides youth education about racism, attitudes towards the police and justice system, auto crime prevention, and property crime. The Auto Crime Prevention program examines the consequences of auto crime and how youth can contribute to preventing it. Teachers guides are included. Some programs are free and some are on a fee-for-service basis.
