Critical Incident Stress Management Program

Provides education, peer counselling, referal to other support services, and follow-up for those who have been affected by stress or traumatic events while performing duties in first aid. This may include first aid attendants, first responders, and health care professionals. Program is peer-driven, free, and voluntary; confidentiality is assured and membership is not required. Hours are 9 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday; if necessary, services may be accessed outside of these hours.
