Culinary Skills Training Program

Service Description

Offers culinary training, coaching, and work experience to young adults who may have barriers to employment such as mental health issues, or lack of employment experience. Program includes employment preparation, job-finding skills, culinary training, and work experience that prepares graduates to obtain employment as qualified cooks in the hospitality industry. Applicants must have stable housing, be connected to or willing to connect to mental health supports, and be willing to work on personal goals during the program. Young people ages 19 to 30 are welcome to apply. Program is five months long, five hours per day, Monday to Friday.
