Day Program for Older Adults - Burnaby

Offers personal assistance, supervision, and an organized program of therapeutic health, social, and recreation activities to seniors and adults with disabilities. Group activities vary by program, and may include therapeutic recreation, social activities, nursing assessments, and health monitoring. Also offers special lift-equipped bathing facilities for individuals unable to bathe at home independently. A hot mid-day meal is provided. A referral is required from the home health intake office. Fees are charged. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; program hours may vary but are generally 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, seven days per week.
