Diabetes Foot Care Program

Service Description
Provides assessment, prevention, treatment, education, and support for people with diabetes to maintain healthy feet. Clients with diabetes (no open wounds) are seen by a foot care nurse, occupational therapist, and receive education in self-care and home management. Physician referral required. Fee for service. Serves the North Shore from Lions Bay to Deep Cove. Office hours are 8:15 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday.
COVD-19 Update (April 30, 2020): As services are temporarily suspended, refer client to their general practitioner to determine if foot care is urgent; they will then be referred to a podiatrist offering urgent care.
