Service Description

A 24-hour drop-in centre for youth age 25 and under who are homeless, at risk, or street involved. Services include shower and laundry facilities; clothing, shoes, and toiletries; harm reduction supplies and information; housing search assistance; information and referral; and snacks. Provides a hot dinner from 8 pm to 9 pm daily for existing clients; registration is required, offers takeout and delivery. An onsite medical clinic with a doctor is available from 7 pm to 9 pm on Mondays, and a nurse from 7 pm to 9 pm on Thursdays; services are free and offered on a drop-in basis. Programs include Street Youth Job Action pre-employment program, Culinary Leaders in Training Program, Music Leaders in Training Program, and art and digital media programs. Offers a pet room and kennels for youth accessing resources; SPCA workers are available to discuss pet-related concerns from 8 am to 9 pm Thursdays. Overnight after-hours crisis response staff provide assessment and referrals to services, working closely with Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), police, and health services. Also offers Indigenous outreach services.
