Service Description
Provides educational services for newcomer, migrant, and immigrant women (including transgender women) involved in indoor sex work throughout Metro Vancouver, and to women who have been trafficked. Services include the 'SWANzine' e-newsletter; the provision of culturally appropriate training opportunities for service providers; and public education, research, and publishing critical perspectives on human trafficking. Support workers have direct and indirect experiences with the indoor sex trade sector. Language services are in English as well as Cantonese and Mandarin. Serves Burnaby, Coquitlam, Langley, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, and White Rock. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
